Favorite Tip #7: Getting to the Scientific Solution

Favorite Tip #7:

“If you can state the problem in one to two simple sentences, you are halfway to finding the solution.”

Here, again, simplicity is the essence of science, of truth.

  1. That’s an interesting tip. Writing craft books suggest that you state your novel’s problem (conflict/plot) in one sentence. Then you can find that solution for the characters. Guess that’s true in real life as well. Thanks!
