Ah, but there is nothing to compare seeing it live! I danced in Nutcracker for about 10 years – a magical time. I worked my way up from being a toy soldier to dancing in almost all the variations in the second act. The only bad thing of having danced it as often as I have, is the movie, of course, is “wrong” – its not the ballet I grew up with! But other than that singular flaw, it IS a gorgeous movie – thanks for the recommendation!
