Favorite Tip #30: Coconut Water

Favorite Tip #30:

My new, favorite ingredient is coconut water. One can of this sweet liquid treat may be poured into rice, instead of water, to make a coconut-flavored rice that goes well with Asian and Indian dishes. Two cans of coconut water may be poured into an ice cream maker to yield four servings of coconut ice, frozen hard or slushy, depending on your preference. This tropical ingredient even worked as the cooking liquid for spaghetti when served under sweet-and-sour chicken. Enjoy.

    • Hi Rhonda, Try cans of your favorite fruit juice or soda. If the liquid is too thick or strong, thin it out with a little water. Cheers, Ashley
