Question of the Week #21:

What is your favorite herb or spice for cooking, and why?

My two cents:

I love the flavor of thyme and add it to any dish I can. Cumin and turmeric are tied for second place.



  1. I love curry, Italian spice blend, and cinnamon.

  3. Garlic. Onions and garlic cooked down before adding meat.

    • Hi Julie, Garlic and onions are the flavor base for so many cuisines. I can’t think of a single one that doesn’t use these two liberally. Cheers, Ashley
