Question of the Week #27: Future Technology

Question of the Week #27:

When will we convert from a scarcity society to an abundance society, and how will this change the world?

My two cents (but please share yours):

Due to advances in nanotechnology, weΒ may see this change around 2040. One key change will be the elimination of hunger and thirst.

  1. “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Ben Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759

    • Isn’t Benjamin Franklin great, Casey! Cheers, Ashley

  2. oops – wrong post!

    • Happy to have your comments anytime, anywhere, Casey. Cheers, Ashley

  3. When Jesus returns to set up His kingdom. We won’t ever accomplish this, but He will.

    • That’s a whole higher level, David. πŸ™‚ On a much lower, technical level, we’ll see some interesting technology advances between now and 2040 that will change our outlook considerably–and hopefuly for the better. Cheers, Ashley
