Favorite Tip #36: Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

Favorite Tip #36:

The steps for self-fulfilling prophecy:

  1. Place a thought in your mind. Repeat it several times. (Be careful. Don’t dwell on thoughts like “I’m tired.” or “I’m sick.”)
  2. Load up that thought with strong feelings to anchor it.
  3. Then the mind will provide lots of opportunities to experience what you have planted. (Any thoughts on how the mind provides the opportunities?)

My two cents (but please share yours):

Anchoring with a strong feeling is the critical step. And remember, to feel good, you must feel love.

  1. To anchor your feelings even more, follow these steps while you are exercising. Cheers, Ashley

  2. I’ve seen this so often. It’s amazing how well it works. I did it with this job. Knew that I wanted this one, so anchored the feeling and certainty. and voila. i’m here – in a unique position with no experience to justify getting the position.

    • That’s wonderful, Louise! It does work. Cheers, Ashley
