Favorite Tip #39: Out of Buttermilk?

Favorite Tip #39:

Out of buttermilk? No problem. Take one tablespoon of either white vinegar or lemon juice and drop it into a measuring cup. Add enough milk (whole, 2%, or skim) to complete a cup of liquid. Stir and use this mixture as you would buttermilk. This tip is an oldie-but-goodie.
