Question of the Week #25 – 2013: Future Technology

What will people need most to survive in a 21st c. high-tech world?

My two cents (but please share yours):

Face-to-face human contact. Living with high-tech devices is exceedingly isolating.

  1. Just saw a short video about what all of this constant information overload is doing to our brains. The author suggests we take a few minutes each day and unplug because with so much bombarding us we can’t retain information to learn.

    • Sounds like a great tip, Patti. Also, the computer-free Sundays still help, especially if the book club meets in the afternoon–technology off, human contact on. Cheers, Ashley

  2. I love your answer to your own question. I go out of my way to arrange my life and habits to include as much human interface as possible.
