When was the term “multiverse” first coined?

  1. Does that mean a poem or song with more than one verse?

    • Hi David, Cute. 🙂 The multiverse is a theoretical set of universes, including ours. Each universe is subject to laws of physics that may or may not be the same as our own. This term first appeared in 1895. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiverse) Cheers, Ashley
