Question of the Week #54 – 2013: Knockout Game

Question of the Week #54 – 2013: Knockout Game

Are you aware of the vicious and deadly “Knockout Game?”

Please warn your loved ones about this new danger and urge them to be more aware of their surroundings during their holiday shopping.

My two cents (but please share yours):

This growing practice has not been widely reported in the news, yet. The following quote comes from Wikipedia.

  • “Knockout, also known as the knockout game and knockout king, is a violent activity played by punching an unsuspecting bystander with the object of knocking that individual unconscious in a single punch. The game has resulted in serious injuries and death for its victims and corresponding criminal charges for those playing it.”

  1. Never heard of this – wow!

    • Hi Patti, I just heard about it for the first time last night and thought it should be shared. We should always be alert to our surroundings anyway. Cheers, Ashley

  2. What is really disgusting is that this has been going on for quite some time. There are hundreds of incidents and the news organizations have been ignoring them and not reporting them. I wonder why.

    • That is disturbing, Kay. At least we can make people aware through social media. Cheers, Ashley

  3. Never heard of this one.

    • It’s new to me this week, too, David. Cheers, Ashley

  4. My husband made me aware of this new, violent practice a few days ago. Thanks for spreading the word. Scary stuff, huh?

    • It is scary, Jolyse. Please help spread the word. I wish the traditional press would cover this issue more. Cheers, Ashley
