Easy Recipe: Guilt-Free Creamy Salad Dressing

My motto used to be “If it didn’t get done in the microwave, it didn’t get done.” I’ve since learned to use my electric oven and its four-burner cooktop. But …

Easy Recipe: Guilt-Free Creamy Salad Dressing

Step 1:  Mix 1/2c lowfat mayonnaise, 1/4c plain nonfat yogurt (Greek yogurt works, too), 1/4c skim milk, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste. This is a basic cream dressing.

Step 2:  To make a cheese dressing, take the basic cream one and add 1/3c shredded/grated/crumbled cheese of your choice. I often use blue cheese or parmesan. To make a ranch dressing, take the basic cream one and add 1T minced dill, 1t garlic powder, and 1t onion powder.

Note:  As always, play with these easy recipes and make them your own.

Enjoy.
