Superfood of the Week – Garlic

What is your favorite recipe that uses this food?

My two cents (but please share yours):

A million uses for garlic but my favorite is to take plain, nonfat Greek yogurt, add several squirts of lemon juice and a generous dusting of garlic powder. Stir and chill for about half an hour. Then serve this sauce with fish or roasted potatoes. Enjoy.



  1. I don’t eat garlic but my husband puts an entire ball (that’s not the word) of garlic in the oven and roasts it then when you take it out, it spreads like butter.

  2. I don’t use garlic cloves, but I like to add garlic salt to ranch dip to dip celery sticks into.

    • Garlic salt is a wonderful ingredient, David. Do you make your own ranch dip? I’ve come across several different versions–no longer certain what the standard recipe is. Cheers, Ashley
