Favorite Tip #89: Companel

Favorite Tip #89: Companel

To remember what a companel is, smash communications and panel together. Some folks claim the word comes from computer and panel.

These flat-screen devices are just beginning to invade our lives. One day, companels will cover every surface, and we’ll no longer need to carry phones, tablets, or computers.

  1. Never heard of a companel. How do you say it? Like “com” for computer and “panel” like normal?

    • Yes, Patti, companel is pronounced exactly as you expect. Soon, companels will free us from lugging electronic devices all over town. Cheers, Ashley

  2. I’m getting visions of sci-fi movies as reality…

    • That’s especially true of near-future sci-fi, CJ. Cheers, Ashley
