Question of the Week #30 – 2014

What is your favorite dish this summer?

My two cents (but please share yours):

My favorite so far has been cheesy quesadillas overloaded with mushrooms and tomatoes and cilantro. For seasoning, I use generous shakes of ground cumin and turmeric powder with just a dash of dried jalapeno.



  1. OMG, as I might have mentioned some time ago, I eat a quesadilla almost every day for dinner. I’ve been a vegetarian for a long time and I love tortillas with cheese and garbanzo beans or kidney beans or black beans so that I get my protein. Yours sounds delicious.

  2. My favorite in summer or winter or in between is either prime rib or rib-eye steak – but it’s got to be extra rare.
