Question of the Week #32 – 2014

Question of the Week #32 – 2014

What is the Tenth Amendment of the US Constitution?

My two cents (but please share yours):

All too often, the rights of the States are forgotten or deliberately ignored. When a program is forced on all of the States at the same time, in spite of their citizens’ preferences, it is the equivalent to putting all of one’s eggs in a single basket. If the basket breaks…

Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

  1. Congress, Presidents and judges and Supreme Court Justices have totally ignored this amendment for decades now. We desperately need to return to following the ENTIRE constitution.

    • Absolutely, David. Hopefully, recent events are driving home the need for all parties to perform their jobs in accordance with the US Constitution. Cheers, Ashley
