Superfood of the Week – Limes

What is your favorite recipe that uses this food?

My two cents (but please share yours):

Take 1/4 c plain yogurt and add 2T broth, the juice of 2 limes, 2t agave nectar, 2T chopped cilantro, 1t garlic powder, 1t onion powder, and 1t sesame oil. Mix thoroughly and stir this creamy Thai sauce into freshly cooked, hot pasta. Garnish with more cilantro leaves and cashews. To this base recipe, you can add veggies and proteins to suit your tastes.



  1. Love limes! My favorite thing to use limes for is a sour lime-aid – no sweetener of any kind. Yum! 🙂

    • Hi Rhonda, I must confess to using a little agave nectar in my lime-aid. Sometimes use sparkling water, too. Cheers, Ashley
