What is your favorite killer nanotechnology application, and why?

My two cents (but please share yours):

Here are the nanotechnology applications covered in previous picoblogs on this site. My current favorite is the Buckyball, because it was the first.

      If you’re curious about any of the listed nanotech applications, check out the picoblogs here in this site’s archives, mostly under Fun Factoids. When I want to look up a posted application, I just do a search on this site’s home page. The correct picoblog generally comes up. Also, Wikipedia is great for nanotechnology definitions.
