Superfood of the Week – Grapefruit

What is your favorite recipe that uses this food?

My two cents, but please share yours:

Grapefruit season is almost here! I like the pink ones sweetened with a tiny drizzle of agave nectar. This citrus fruit can be used in any dish as a substitute for lemons or limes or oranges.

For a simple vinaigrette, mix grapefruit juice with olive oil, agave nectar, and dashes of salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Play with the proportions until you find the balance that’s perfect. Enjoy.
