Book Recommendation: Perfect for October, 2014

Type:  Classic mysteries

Writer:  Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Title:  “Sherlock Holmes” series

Why:  The “Sherlock Holmes” series (beginning in 1887) is still one of the best detective series ever written. This classic is a must-read on eerie October evenings for anyone who loves whodunits. Be sure to keep candles and matches on hand, just in case the lights happen to go out.

Responses

  1. “Hound of the Baskervilles” was the eeriest Sherlock Holmes, in my opinion.

    • You are so right, Caroline. But it is a wonderful story. Cheers, Ashley
