Question of the Week – 2014 – Post #51

What are the benefits of a silent book launch?

My two cents, but please share yours:

A silent book launch is the release of a book for sale without advertising. Here are some of the benefits.

  • A new writer can learn how to self-publish a book and fix mistakes before the public is aware
  • A writer can experiment with book covers to see which sells best
  • A new writer can build a body of work before the public is aware
  • A writer can experiment with different types of advertising to see which methods impact sales
