Favorite Tip #94: Voting

When you go to your voting location, always take a new paperback novel by one of your favorite authors. If you’re eager to read it, the waiting line will move so quickly that you can’t. You can also use the novel to start a conversation with a fellow voter.

Tomorrow is Election Day. Please research your candidates. Please go and vote.


  1. I could have used this advice in 1984, when I stood in line for over an hour to vote for Ronald Reagan. These days, I always vote early and rarely have more than a five minute wait. Often no wait at all.
