Movie Recommendation: Perfect for November, 2014

Type:  Classic swashbuckler romance

Actors:  Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, Eugene Pallette, Claude Rains, Basil Rathbone

Director:  Michael Curtiz, William Keighley

Writers:  Seton I. Miller, Norman Reilly Raine

Title:  “The Adventures of Robin Hood

Why:  This choice was inspired by one of my favorite characters, Friar Tuck. “The Adventures of Robin Hood” (1938) is another great classic, perfect for the whole family after a Thanksgiving feast, or at least for those who aren’t sleeping in front of the big football game.

  1. Love the old classic Robin Hood! It’s right up there (for me) with The Scarlet Pimpernel.

    • You are so right about both movies, CJ! Cheers, Ashley
