Movie Recommendation: Perfect for December, 2014

Type:  Christmas classic

Actors:  Leo G. Carroll, Gene Lockhart, Kathleen Lockhart, Reginald Owen

Director:  Edwin L. Marin

Writers:  Hugo Butler (screen play), Charles Dickens

Title:  “A Christmas Carol

Why:  Of all the movie versions of Ebenezer Scrooge and his visit with three ghosts, “A Christmas Carol” (1938) is perhaps the most heartwarming. Be sure to watch for a very young June Lockhart among the Cratchit children.

  1. Christmas isn’t Christmas without watching A Christmas Carol at least once…and A Christmas Story too!
