Picoblog Question – 2015 – Post #4

We all know power corrupts and arrogance is the underlying corrupting force. What is the antidote to this corruption, the healing force?

My two cents, but please share yours:

Arrogance leads to inequality, to one feeling superior to and more entitled than another. Humility, on the other hand, leads to equality, to feeling neither superior nor inferior. Humility may just be the healing force, and it is the first quality to look for in a leader.

  1. I would say justice applied equally to all. It allows people to hear our wounds and exposes those practices that of corruption. I allows us to share our human experience to connect to others and undermines both arrogance and power in the face of social pressure

    • I agree that justice should be applied equally to all, Linda. Unfortunately, hidden agendas often interfere with this equal application. Cheers, Ashley
