Techie Corner – 2015 – Post #9 – The Absolutes in Science
What are the absolutes in science?
My two cents, but please share yours:
1. There is no such thing as “settled” science. Nothing is known with 100% certainty, and any law can be upended by a near-future scientific discovery.
2. Even the slightest pre-experiment bias renders the experiment’s results useless, unfit for decision-making.
3. Censorship of opposing viewpoints will never lead to scientific truths.
I was thinking how I would have to explain how I’m not a scientist…and then explain 1, 2, and 3, exactly as you did. I totally agree, and I love the idea that there is so much we don’t know.

Absolutely agree. Science is relative to the next finding.
