Picoblog Question – 2015 – Post #60

The fourth quarter for 2015 starts tomorrow, bringing with it the three-month “Holiday Season.” What is your favorite tip for surviving all of the coming festivities?

I have two tips for this time of year. Get your holiday gifts purchased before the end of October, and heavily medicate with dark chocolate and naps. Cheers!

  1. For several years now we’ve given our kids cash and our grandkids either cash or gift cards. Saves a lot of hassle, especially with people you’re not around all the time.

    • Always great ideas, David. Certainly saves time. Cheers, Ashley

  2. Those are awesome suggestions. We give our grown kids cash as the main gift, but I like to get tangible gifts as well – which always end up being last minute panics. The chocolate and naps…no problem there. 🙂

    • They do work, D. Wallace. 🙂 Cheers, Ashley

  3. I like your idea of medication, Ashley!

  4. Our kids give us lists with links on thanksgiving and we shop that way. Also I bake cookies and freeze them

    • Impressive, Linda. I always intend to bake cookies but never quite follow through. Cheers, Ashley
