The easiest way is to give them a common goal or a common opponent. Are there any other ways?

I agree with you here. Unfortunately, it seems that a common enemy is the easier route in this day and age. Sometimes I think we are threatening our own existence in order to ultimately unite us. (See where my mind goes with this stuff!)

We need more positive goals, D. Wallace, such as putting a man on the moon. But these goals require considerable thought. Cheers, Ashley
