Movie Corner – 2015 – Post #11 – Perfect for November

What movie would be perfect to watch in November?

My two cents, but please share yours:

For this month, I picked the romantic classic Miracle on 34th Street (1947). The cast includes Edmund Gwenn, Gene Lockhart, Maureen O’Hara, John Payne, and Natalie Wood. Watching this movie on Thanksgiving Day afternoon, during the lull before the kitchen storm, has become an annual tradition in our home.

  1. Any movie I picked would be at least 20 years old, and more likely 40 or more.

    • There are certainly some great movies from the 1970s, David. If you have a particular favorite, please share. Cheers, Ashley

  2. I like Miracle too–sad that Maureen O’Hara passed recently.

    • Maureen O’Hara will be missed by many of us, Angelyn. She left us a wonderful collection of films. Cheers, Ashley

  3. I like that movie too, but I prefer Christmas in Connecticut.

    • Another great classic, Linda! Cheers, Ashley
