Picoblog Question – 2016 – Post #43
What sort of weather are you having this weekend?
My two cents, but please share yours:
Here in north Dallas, Texas, we’re hoping to finally start drying out after several weeks of thunderstorms. Many in our area are dealing with flooding, but our little neighborhood stayed above water, mostly. And here come the 90 degree temperatures. How’s the weather in your area?
Same in southwest Fort Worth, Ashley.

so #1 Grandson came from Mandeville, La for a Lacrosse tournament, which was cancelled today due to the wet state of the field in Plano they were supposed to play on. Darn! Now it’s sunny and we have had the time to eat with other family folk here, sleep in, see a movie, do some fun things, and just hang. Weather is our friend sometimes. Maybe they will get in a game or two Sunday morning before the team has to head back.

Sounds fun, Kay. “It’s an ill wind that blows no good.” 🙂 Cheers, Ashley

Record breaking heat this weekend – in the 100’s in the mountains, so the valleys are going to be hotter. I did all my yard chores early this morning. I’m glad you’re drying out. Strange weather.

100s in the mountains already, D. Wallace? Yikes! Our lake level is about six feet above normal, but we are dry. El Nino has had enough fun for this round, I’m thinking. La Nina will be a welcome change, until the droughts return. 🙂 Cheers, Ashley

Humid, hotish, and thunderstorms which are all around but may or may not hit here.

Sounds like summer has arrived where you are, Gerri, a great time for tropical salads and fruity iced teas. 🙂 Cheers, Ashley
