Picoblog Question – 2016 – Post #47

The first day of summer is rapidly approaching. How will you celebrate this new season?

My two cents, but please share yours:

I’m breaking out our fresh lemons, limes, oranges, pineapples, agave nectar, and heavily chilled seltzer water, squeezing and mixing these ingredients into refreshing sodas all summer long.

Be sure to play with and test taste the citrus-juice-to-agave-nectar ratio before adding the seltzer water. Mix and match the juices. Try other fruit juices, herbs (especially lavender), and spices (like curry), too. Make this recipe your own. Enjoy.

  1. Going to my grandson’s b-day party – a solstice baby. Then lots of walks in the woods 🙂 Your summer beverage sounds wonderful!

    • Nothing better than walks in the woods, D. Wallace! Hope you play with and thoroughly enjoy the homemade soda recipe. Cheers, Ashley
