Foodie Corner – 2017 – Post #4 – Parmesan Crisps

My motto used to be “If it didn’t get done in the microwave, it didn’t get done.” I’ve since learned to use my electric oven and its four-burner cooktop. But …

Foodie Corner – 2017 – Post #4 – Parmesan Crisps

Is there an easy way to make cheese crackers?

My two cents, but please share yours:

Yes. Take 1/2c of grated parmesan and place heaping tablespoons of the cheese on a silicone baking sheet about half an inch apart. Pat the little piles down. Then bake the cheese in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F for 3-5 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes, if you can wait that long. This recipe makes about 8 crisps. Enjoy.

  1. That sounds pretty good. I’ve never heard of parmesan crisps. Only 8? That’s not enough. 🙂

    • Triple the recipe, D. Wallace! 🙂 Cheers, Ashley

  2. Precooked and wrapped for freshness at grocery stores.

    • Always an option, David. 🙂 Cheers, Ashley
