“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”

– Benjamin Franklin

My two cents, but please share yours:

A well-educated senior mind should never be allowed to go to waste.

  1. No deep meaning here, but I’ve always liked these words of Edgar Allan Poe:

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore—
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
“’Tis some visitor,” I muttered, “tapping at my chamber door—
    Only this and nothing more.”

Of course, this isn’t the entire poem, but I’ve just always loved the flow of these words!

    • I can see why, David. The cadence is wonderful. 🙂 Cheers, Ashley

  2. My high school teacher said the mark of a good education is knowing where to look it up! Now there’s those computer people on your phone to ask…not the best way to be educated…easier isn’t always better.
