Foodie Corner – 2018 – Post #3 – Sparkling Iced Tea
What can you do to iced tea to make it even more refreshing?
My two cents, but please share yours:
Recently, I’ve been making sparkling iced tea.
In a microwave-safe measuring cup, heat 1.5c of plain water for 2 minutes. Dunk in 4 teabags (or the loose-tea equivalent using a tea ball) of your favorite tea blend and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Discard the teabags. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until icy.
Fill a tall glass with equal parts of the strong tea and chilled sparkling water. Add a couple of drips of agave nectar, if you like sweet tea. Enjoy.
Heh. Leave out the tea part and have lots of lemon and some sugar in iced water. Lemonade. 🙂
