Book Corner – 2019 – Post #1

What are you currently reading?

My two cents, but please share yours:

For fiction, I’m well into Leverage in Death by J. D. Robb, for pure whodunit fun.

For nonfiction, I’m also reading Non-Obvious by Rohit Bhargava. This book not only talks about new trends for 2019, but how to “curate” ideas for future use.

  1. I’m working my way through “Westward, Ho!” (Charles Kingsley) and re-reading “Summerhill” (A S Neill).

The former may be too much “boy’s adventure story” for me, and probably should have been read 60+ years ago. 😉

The latter is hard. The Freudean emphasis is tiresomely over the top, but wish I’d had such a school for my kids (or myself), and think many teenage problems and miseries could have been avoided.

    • These stories sound perfect for a winter’s afternoon, Aunt Mary! Cheers, Ashley
