Book Corner – 2019 – Post #2

What are you currently reading?

My two cents, but please share yours:

For fiction, I’m beginning End Game (Will Robie Series) by David Baldacci, this month’s selection for my neighborhood book club.

For nonfiction, I’m just starting Right on the Money by Doug Casey. This book addresses investing and economics.

  1. Today I finished “The Three Musketeers” by Alexandre Dumas. My copy was printed in 1928 and has 250 wonderful illustrations! I’ve not enjoyed a book so much in a LONG time.

Probably purchased it at The Book Barn up in PA/DE area – had it since 1977 but never had the time to read it. Gotta love being retired. 🙂

I think I’ll read it again. The story was gripping enough to make me race through parts of it.

    • The Three Musketeers is one of my very favorite stories, Aunt Mary, along with The Count of Monte Cristo. I’ve loved these books, and the films derived from them, since childhood. I’m so glad you love this story, too! 🙂 Cheers, Ashley

  2. I am currently reading “Flying Too High,” by Kerrie Greenwood. The story is part of the Phryne Fisher Murder Mystery series. I love the tv series from Australia!

    • Always love hearing about new mystery series, Suzanne, and welcome to this picoblog. I’ll have to check this series out. Cheers, Ashley
