Picoblog Question – 2019 – Post #1

What nonreligious book do you return to again and again, a sort of touch-stone read?

My two cents, but please share yours:

For me, that book is Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. This quiet little story has a lyrical quality that soothes and restores, like a journey to an island beach.

  1. I love that book. I’ve found it makes a great gift for people who love the sea and also need to remember how to reflect.

    • I hadn’t thought about giving this book as a gift, Sascha, but you’re absolutely right. Also, welcome to this picoblog! Cheers, Ashley

  2. Anam Cara by John O’Donohue. It’s a favorite. 🙂
