Book Corner – 2019 – Post #4

What are you currently reading?

My two cents, but please share yours:

For fiction, I’m beginning Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell, the next selection for my neighborhood book club.

For nonfiction, I’m still reading The Future of Humanity by Michio Kaku, and still getting a lovely dose of future technology.

  1. My current reading is a book written by a writing friend of mine, a literary figure in NZ and long-standing historian, who passed away earlier this year. It’s been on my ‘to be read’ pile for months. I was always intending to read it, and give him my thoughts on it (his stuff is always good); but sadly he passed before I got on to it.

    • Hi Matthew, Please share your friend’s author name and book title, when you catch a spare moment. We’d love to hear about his book. I’m very sorry for your loss, Ashley

  2. I just purchased a newly published book, “Governing Least” by Dan Moller. Political philosophy. Comments I’d seen made me want to read it but I knew my library would never have it. I hope it is worth the purchase price.

    • Hope you really enjoy your new book, Aunt Mary. Cheers, Ashley
