Book Corner – 2020 – Post #3

What are you currently reading, and are you enjoying your books?

My two cents, but please share yours:

For fiction, I’m about to start One Good Deed by David Baldacci, this month’s selection for my neighborhood book club. Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult was good, but my favorite of her books was My Sister’s Keeper.

For nonfiction, well, yes, I’m still studying Great Stories Don’t Write Themselves: Criteria-Driven Strategies for More Effective Fiction by Larry Brooks. It’s still good, but this book may take me several months to finish.

  1. Re-reading “The Tokaido Road” – a novel of feudal Japan, by Lucia St. Clair Robson. I’ve had this book for years and have enjoyed it each time I read it. 🙂

    • Sounds very interesting, Aunt Mary. I found it on Amazon and added it to both Mom’s and my buy lists. Thank you for telling us about it. 🙂 Cheers, Ashley
