Techie Corner – 2020 – Post #2 – Data Integrity Activism

Can anyone be a data integrity activist?

My two cents, but please share yours:

Yes, absolutely, anyone can, regardless of one’s political preferences.

Data integrity activism is about protesting any organization that engages in falsifying data and/or sharing inaccurate information. Before a leader can make a good decision, they need to be armed with true, unbiased data.

This form of activism is also called Truth Lobbying and involves just that, lobbying against data doctoring, practices that corrupt raw databases, and the generation of misleading charts.
