Book Corner – 2020 – Post #4

What are you currently reading, and are you enjoying your books?

My two cents, but please share yours:

For fiction, I’m part way into The Glass Ocean by Beatriz Williams, Lauren Willig, and Karen White, this month’s selection for my neighborhood book club. Much of this story is set on the RMS Lusitania, and, so far, it’s holding my interest with a little romance and mystery blended together.

For nonfiction, I’ve finally moved on to studying Writing Love: Screenwriting Tricks for Authors by Alexandra Sokoloff. Hope it’ll be as great as Larry Brooks’ Great Stories Don’t Write Themselves was.

  1. Recently finished re-reading “Owl” by William Service. Glad I have this book, it’s quite unusual.

Currently re-reading “Prelude to Foundation” by Isaac Asimov. Your dad introduced me to sci-fi. 🙂 It wasn’t popular at a girls’ school.

Our libraries are still closed so I’m glad I have a private one of my own here at my home! 🙂

    • Hi, Aunt Mary! Dad also introduced me to Isaac Asimov. I’d forgotten about that series and should probably take another pass through, too. 🙂 Cheers, Ashley
