What are you currently reading, and are you enjoying your books?

My two cents, but please share yours:

For fiction, I’m just starting the classic Texas by James A. Michener, the June selection for my neighborhood book club. For pure fun, I’m also part way into The Enigma Cube by Douglas E. Richards. So far, this near-future sci-fi is loaded with interesting characters and lots of cool high-tech gadgets, but it is a tad on the violent side.

For nonfiction, I’m still studying Writing Love: Screenwriting Tricks for Authors by Alexandra Sokoloff.

  1. Well, now it is 14 June and our libraries are still closed unless you know exactly what you want and can order in advance for them to deliver. No browsing, hoping for something to catch your eye. 😦

So I’m still reading from my own bookshelves. Still pure escapism from the horrors going on in the real world: Ursula K. LeGuin, “A Wizard of Earthsea” which is volume 1 of The Earthsea Trilogy.

    • Hi Aunt Mary, You are always so wise to keep a library of your own. 🙂 Cheers, Ashley
