Favorite Quotes – 2020 – Post #28

“Liberty, when it begins to take root, is a plant of rapid growth.”

– George Washington

My two cents (or another favorite quote), but please share yours:

“My first wish is to see this plague of mankind, war, banished from the earth.”

– George Washington

Today’s theme = George Washington

  1. Great quotes and as true today.

    • Thank you so much, D. Wallace. Cheers, Ashley

  2. Certainly true that war and conflict are disruptive and need to be controlled, but the definition of Liberty seems to be in great change right now.

    • I’ve noticed that, Kay, but I intend to stick with liberty equaling freedom (the opposite of slavery). 🙂 Cheers, Ashley
