What is your best tip for handling unexpected stress?
My two cents, but please share yours:
Every time I get an unwelcome surprise, I stop and take several deep breaths, inhaling for four counts, holding for four counts, and exhaling for eight counts.
If I’m alone where no one can hear me, I also yell my frustrations at the top of my lungs, until I feel silly. At this point, I’m ready to deal with the source of the stress.
