Some of the greatest pleasures in life are captured in our simplest little ceremonies. What is your favorite little ceremony that you will keep during this festive week?
My two cents, but please share yours:
Each day when the mail brings a fresh batch of Christmas cards, I’m taking a few minutes to read each card and think about the loved one who sent it.

My table-top Christmas tree lights are on a timer – both morning and evening. Morning stretches in the dimly lit room. Sometimes morning coffee. Before bed resting in the glow of the fairy lights. Tree and I have had more than 50 years together. So we are awash in times long past. 🙂 Some of the ornaments are from my early childhood, before my memory.
