As new technologies emerge, what should each of us remember?
My two cents, but please share yours:
No matter how technologically advanced humans become, we should never lose the ability to live the electricity-free lifestyle of our ancestors. You never know when a coronal mass ejection from the sun will cause a worldwide electromagnetic-pulse event.

Lay in a supply of canned goods as a start. 🙂 And a non-electric can opener!
